What a great location! I had a fantastic time exploring the Palacios Waterfront and Matagorda Gulf Beach. The hotel also offers a free light breakfast, so I started my day off right. The Matagorda County Museum was a fascinating place to learn about the area.
I absolutely loved how all the rooms were accessible via exterior corridors. It made me feel like I was getting my own private entrance.

The roaches! The place needs a lot of upgrades. And the location sucks right across from a High School!

It was a refreshing experience to find the rooms immaculately clean. The 42 inch LED television was an added bonus and made for a great entertainment option. The hotel's location was a key highlight, with the Matagorda Bay Nature Park and Colorado River just a short distance away. Additionally, there were several convenient amenities such as a Dairy Queen, 24-hour Whataburger, and a laundry facility, all located within a mile from the hotel.
There were a few negative aspects to my stay. The hotel is in dire need of an update as the rooms have noticeably deteriorated and lack modern features.

The bed provided a cozy and relaxing sleep experience, while the HD TV offered a great selection of channels and entertainment. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal as it was conveniently located near key attractions and amenities. This made it easy for me to explore the city and access restaurants and shops nearby.
There were a couple of drawbacks during my stay. there were ongoing construction works in the hotel which sometimes caused inconvenience due to restricted access and noise.
